* The field officers of the 10th were carried to the consolidated regiment and the 10th furnished the first six companies under Capt. C.C. White, Capt R.Z. Harllee, Capt. W.J. Lee. Capt. G.P. Anderson, Capt. J.S. Palmer, and Capt. W.J. Tolar. The other companies were furnished by the 19th.

# Walker states on page 107, of his work on The Tenth, that the units were given individual identity again as men returned in the Winter of 1863, at Dalton.

^ The unit was again consolidated with the 19th S.C. on April 10,1865. Lt. Col C.I. Walker was in command of the Consolidated Battalion with Major J.O. Ferrell of 19th as the other staff officer. Companies A, C, D, G, H, I, of the 10th Regiment formed Company A under Command of Captain R.Z. Harllee, Companies B. E, F, K, L, and M of the 10th Regiment were formed to make Company B of the battalion. Companies C, D, E, and F came from the 19th S.C. Regiment. The consolidated unit was known as The South Carolina Battalion Infantry, Sharpe’s Brigade.
