As best I could tell, all the stones were worn and moss covered, but those from South Carolina. It appears that the recorded Grave #506 has been changed to reflect a member of the Tenth South Carolina with the same name on the new stone. This is not correct according to the records I have seen. If this was in fact, Grave #506. See U.D.C. Vol 2, page 628, for early records of burials in Georgia. |
